Elisabeth "Liesel" Michalek

Elisabeth Michalek (nee Zwick), 74 of Stone Bank, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Liesel is survived by her loving husband Bob, children Denice (Jon) Hoppe, Ronald (Amy) Butenhoff, Monique (Gary) Nyman, step-sons Robert and Michael Michalek, sisters Madeline, Alice and brother Ernest of Germany. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Liesel is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Liesel retired from GE Medical after 23 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, good German wine, cooking and good conversation. Liesel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed family and friends. A celebration of Liesel's life will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM followed by a prayer service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Liesel's name to the Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org.
