Elizabeth Louise Grubba

Elizabeth Louise Grubba, age 68 of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on February 12th after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. She passed away at Angels Grace Hospice with her loving husband David by her side. Elizabeth was born June 12th, 1956, in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Gerald and Carol Kardach (Groshek). 

Elizabeth was an avid reader, painter and gardener. She also loved camping with her family. 

She was a proud graduate from UW-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Elizabeth spent her professional life helping others realize their full potential and helped guide them on the right path to achieve their dreams.

Elizabeth married David Grubba in 1974, and they spent an incredible 51 years of marriage together, through life’s ups and downs, always together. 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Gerald and her brother Joseph Kardach. She is survived by her husband, David; three children, Jeremy (Allison), Jason (Laura) and Jared (Tonia); five grandchildren, Katherine, Lila, David, Vivian and Willow Grubba; her mother Carol Kardach and two sisters, Angela Kardach and Belinda Copus.

A private service will be held in the spring, when the flowers are blooming, and the sun is shining again.
