Elizabeth M. Olson

OLSON, Elizabeth “Bette” age 89, of Oconomowoc, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Shorehaven Lutheran Home. Bette is survived by daughter Nancy (Gary) Whittemore of Ogden, UT, and grandson Jon J. Jensen. Dear sister to Neal (Pat) Howard of El Paso, TX, Allen (Marlene) Schultz of Waukesha, WI, Melody Erd of Elkhorn, WI and Michael Howard of Milwaukee, WI. Bette is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, who passed away in 1975, and brothers Vincent and Robert Howard. Bette is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, along with other relatives and friends. Bette graduated from Waukesha High School and WCTC. She worked at Nordberg’s in Milwaukee, Summit school as a secretary, was the Town of Summit treasurer, sold real estate for Century 21 and worked 20+ years at K-Mart. Bette was a member of Oconomowoc Police Wives and a Summit Fireman’s Auxiliary. We will miss her cheerful smile and caring heart. Graveside services will be held at Summit Cemetery, 2911 Dousman Road in the Town of Summit on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
