Elsie Johannah Johnson

Elsie Johannah Johnson, age 95 of Oconomowoc, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. Elsie is survived by her loving children John (Joanie) Johnson, Jolene (Thomas) Andres and Ted (Mary) Johnson, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, her sister Eleanor Mach along with other relatives and friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Donald G. Johnson, sons Michael and Samuel Johnson and her sisters Evelyn, Genevieve and Violet. Elsie had her master’s degree in mathematics and was a high school teacher at Kettle Moraine High School. She loved to play bridge with her friends. She was very involved with her church and helped there often. Elsie crocheted many blankets and baby blankets for people in the community. She will be truly missed by her family and all her friends. A funeral service for Elsie will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 with a visitation starting at 3:00 PM until time of service at 4:00 PM, all to take place at Dr. Martin Luther Church (325 South Main St. Oconomowoc). Burial will be held for the family on Wednesday at the Village of Hartland Cemetery.
