Elsie M. Jaenicke

Elsie M. Jaenicke (nee Radtke), 97 of Elm Grove, formerly of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Elsie is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Elsie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Jaenicke, parents William and Augusta Radtke, sisters Della Fashun and Lillian Werth, brothers-in-law Edward Fashun and Herbert Werth. Elsie was a lifelong resident of Ashippun and Oconomowoc where she worked as a waitress in Old Ashippun and the Mapleton Inn. She retired from Brownberry Ovens in Oconomowoc. Elsie attended and was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ashippun and was later a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Sugar Island. Funeral services for Elsie will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Ixonia (Sugar Island) on Friday, March 21, 2014. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM, all to be held at the church. Elsie will be laid to rest at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elsie's name to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
