Ernest J Borchardt

Ernest J Borchardt, age 88, of Ashippun, WI passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Ernest is survived by his loving wife Beverly of 68 years; his children Betty (Bob) Schomer, Peggy (Ray) Burow, Ernie (Corlis) Borchardt and Teri (the late Alan) Borchardt; his grandchildren Eric (Erin fiance) Hintermeyer, Angie (Chuck) Brehmer, Tim (Laura) Borchardt, Stacy (Sebastian) Torres, Amy (Dan) Malosh, Kristel (Darren) Carlson, Chad (Jenny) Block, Ryan (Beth) Borchardt, Charles (Brittany) Borchardt and 5 step grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren; his siblings Anna (Don) Pieper and Sandy (the late George) Borchardt. Ernie is survived by many more family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Alan; parents Hubert and Bessie and his brother George. Ernie was a previous Supervisor and Chairman of the Town of Ashippun, a previous supervisor for Dodge County, St. Paul's Episcopal Church Vestry, a 61 year member of the Neosho-Mayville-Horicon Lodge #108 and the Oconomowoc Shriners Club. Ernie loved spending time with his family and friends and loved hunting and the outdoors. A wake will be held for Ernie at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E Summit Ave, Oconomowoc) on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 4:00 PM with a Masonic Service starting at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (N982 County Road P, Oconomowoc) on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM with a visitation to start at 1:00 PM for friends and family. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Ernie was never a flower kind of guy, he would greatly appreciate any memorials being sent to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
