Esther D Mason

Esther D. Mason (nee Frederick), age 87 of Alderly, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. Esther is survived by her children Yvonne (Ray) Werth of Lebanon and Glenn (Elaine) Mason of Alderly, grandchildren Paul (Kim) Werth, Yvett (Kevin) Collopy, Dr. Julie Mason and Amy Mason, great grandchildren Nathanael, Joshua, Bethany and Lily Werth, sister Lenora Jagow, sister-in-law Marion Horst, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Milton, parents, sisters: Anna Schmidt, Sarah Schoenike, Alma Thurow, Evelyn Bucholtz and Madline Tremain and brothers: Walter, Leonard and Raymond Frederick. Funeral services for Esther will be on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at St. Olaf's Church, W653 Roosevelt Road, Rubicon, WI 53078, at 11:30 AM. Visitation for family and friends will be at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at St. Oalf's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Olaf's Mortgage Fund or to a charity of one's choice. Esther was born on April 7, 1926 to Emil and Lisetta (nee Krubsack) Frederick in Lebanon. On May 20, 1951 she married Milton Mason. Her and Milton farmed together in the town of Ashippun. Esther was an active member of St. Olaf's church, where she teamed together with other members sending hundreds and thousands of quilts and blankets around the world for Lutheran World Relief.
