Esther R. Bruce

Esther R. Bruce (nee Winchell), 92 of Nashotah, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Loving mother to Jane Bruce, Barbara (fiance Mark Gempeler) Johnson and Jim Bruce. Cherished grandmother to Rebecca Jean (Dan) Chapman of Glendale, CA and Kristin Johnson of St. Louis, MO. Esther is also survived by her sister Betty Letts of California, brothers Burton Winchell and Kenneth (Audrey) Winchell of Mercer, WI along with many nieces, nephews and great-grandpuppy Fremont. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Bruce, parents Henry and Martha Winchell, brother Sy Winchell, sisters Eva Vehlow, Florence Williams, Jeanette Buth, her beautiful granddaughter Erin Bruce and son-in-law Michael H. Johnson. Esther will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Esther and Henry are now dancing in heaven. God bless you Mom. Funeral services for Esther will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of the service, all to be held at the funeral home. Esther will be laid to rest at LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc immediately following the service. Memorials can be made in Esther's name to the charity of one's choice.
