Fred Boldt

Fred Boldt, 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 10, 2024. He

has never been more alive than at this moment and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus our

Savior.

He was born and grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He graduated from Concordia College, River Forrest, IL in 1968. He married his college sweetheart Barbara in 1969 and that was the start of Fred’s remarkable career and life journey with Barb. Fred and Barb moved to Oconomowoc, WI in 1974 to raise their family and to teach and become Principal at St. Paul’s Lutheran School. Fred went on to attain his Master’s degree at Concordia College, Mequon, and Marquette University.

Fred loved nothing more than to be up at “Perchanor,” their second home in Three Lakes, WI. Fred cherished moments there with countless family and friends. Fred loved to clean fish with the grandchildren, tell jokes and stories at the campfire, watch the deer at the feeder from the back deck and so many other countless activities.

Fred also loved to hunt and passed this on to his sons and grandchildren. Fred thoroughly loved sports and never missed any of his grandkid’s games. All the players on each team knew Grandpa Fred. They also knew his voice. “Bend the knees” and “Use the backboard” were some of his classic catch phrases. 😊

Fred and Barb are highly successful entrepreneurs with their global business with Market America. For over three decades they served as Local Coordinators, District Coordinators and Certified Trainers, and achieving the Unfranchise level of Executive Supervising Coordinators. Fred’s selflessness, generosity, true belief in others and profound sense of community showed through him everyday.

His greatest joy was being with family, leading St. Paul’s Lutheran School as Principal

for 40 plus years and being a mentor, helper, and friend to anyone who needed it.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara of 55 years; his four sons Stephen (Sheila), Aaron

(Carrie), Nathaniel and Joshua (Jennifer); 11 grandchildren, Sarina Immesote (Jason),

Shaina, Connor, Maddox Weber, Luke, Adam, Gavin Weber, Colton, Rachael, Tristan

Weber and Greyson.

As Fred would always say, Peace, Power and Joy!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have

been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 17 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 18 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 8:30 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM.

Fred’s dream has always been that every child should be able to get a Christian education. The family asks that in lieu of sending flowers that any gifts would go to support the Fred Boldt Fund a Family Scholarship Fund.
