Gary Lee Paszkiewicz

Gary Lee Paszkiewicz passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his life, Jenny, and his ever-loving children on January 23, 2024 at AngelsGrace Hospice, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gary was the youngest son of William and Rosemarie Paszkiewicz and was born in Milwaukee on November 14, 1957.

He is survived by his loving wife Jenny, whom he married in 1979; and their three children William (Katie) Paszkiewicz, Melissa Beyer and Jessica (Andrew) Mueller; 7 amazing grandkids, who lovingly called him Bops: Ella, Ethan, Colton, Connor, Hannah, Ryan and Jacob. He is also survived by his siblings Lori (Gary) Aschenbrenner, Ricky (Barbara) Paszkiewicz and Kathy Aschebrock. He will be greatly missed by Nancy (Carl) Crass and Cliff (Carolyn) Ziehr; dearest friends Keith (Diane) Wein; loving nieces Kim “Kimmy Sue", Amy “Ames” and Andrea “Goobie”; along with many other very special neighbors and friends.

Gary was one of the hardest working men and after 43 years he retired as a Masonry/Foreman for Gerald Nell. He learned his trade working with his uncles. Gary could build or fix anything and was a mentor to many of the younger guys he worked with, especially his work son Tim Wein. If you visited a Kwik Trip, it was likely one that Gary built.

His favorite pastime was weekends spent at “camp” enjoying the campfire, singing off key to his favorite songs with a cocktail in hand and stars up above surrounded by his best friends and beloved family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Raza, Dr. Cooke and the amazing team at the Cancer Center and Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The comfort extended to Gary and the family at AngelsGrace was greatly appreciated as was the pastoral care of Pastor Sean at Hope Church, Chaplains Dennis and Brenda, who provided support to the entire family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or AngelsGrace Hospice in Gary’s name are welcome.

A visitation will take place on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a service to follow.
