Gary "Marshal" Eske

Gary 'Marshal' Eske, age 56 of Waukesha, entered the presence of his Lord Jesus on October 15, 2015, five weeks after suffering a severe stroke as a complication of Fabry disease. He was born Gary Walter Eske on February 13, 1959 in Oconomowoc, WI to Walter and Shirley (nee Vinz) Eske. Gary grew up on the family homestead near Ashippun, WI. Always a free spirit, Gary loved hunting, sports, gardening and collecting. He worked as a carpenter and handyman and was self-educated on many subjects. Early in life he adopted the name Clyde Saul Poste, then Marshal Poste, and eventually went back to his family name as Marshal Eske. Gary is survived by his long time sweetheart, Darlene Vertz of Waukesha; his parents Walter and Shirley Eske of Watertown; two brothers, Randy (Lissa) Eske of Oconomowoc, and Chad (Heidi) Eske of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Wendy Eske of Watertown and Lori (Donny) Dietz of Beaver Dam; five nieces, two nephews, two step-nephews, along with many other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Gary will be held at Elmbrook Church, 777 S. Barker Road in Brookfield on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 4:00 PM followed by a reception at church. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 3:00 PM. Donations in memory of Gary may be made to the National Fabry Disease Foundation or the Disabled American Veterans.
