Georganne Wilson-Bellotti born in Akron, Ohio, and lived most of her life in southeastern Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on June 15th, 2022, lovingly surrounded by her children, son John (Kathleen) Bellotti and daughter Maria (Jonathan) Tiegs. She found great comfort in her final days; finally free of pain while enjoying the company of her children, grand-children, friends, and grand-dogs. She enjoyed listening to stories of her past, her children’s memories, listening to her beloved rock music and beautiful piano music compliments of her daughter and grand-daughter Elliana Tiegs. Georganne was born on July 14, 1951, to her parents George and Charlene Wilson in Akron, OH. After graduating from State University of New York, Stony Brook with a degree in Social Psychology she went to work for the Wisconsin Correctional Service in Milwaukee, WI. After moving to Wisconsin for her first husband’s job (John Bellotti II) with her son and brand new baby she proudly worked for WCS as a data processing coordinator before moving on to work for Harnischfeger as a project manager for the Information Center. She was always proud of her work with computers and her tech savvy. Always one to be “In the know” about the latest computer/tech devices. After her divorce, Georganne embraced the challenges of raising two children while working full-time. Eventually meeting, and marrying, Richard Bowman. She proudly took her children on the best fishing trips to Canada, to Disney, South Carolina, Jamaica, etc. and always looked forward to going “home for the holidays” to Akron, OH to see her beloved parents and siblings Steve (Betty) Wilson, Greg (Cindy) Wilson, and Reni Wilson, niece Marissa Wilson, nephews Steven and Kevin Wilson. Gigi, MOM, and grandma, as she was affectionately known by, unconditionally, unselfishly loved her children and grandchildren and supported them all her life. She also made it her mission to care for the differently-abled, offering up any advice or assistance she could to anyone in need. Georganne was also passionate about her Catholic faith. As a member of the St. Anthony on the Lake Church Parish in Pewaukee, WI. She was often seen for Sunday Mass, lighting candles for her beloved family that preceded her in death (George and Greg Wilson and Richard Bowman). Her dog, Katie, welcomed her to heaven with a wag of her tail. She looked forward to being able to offer communion to shut-ins. She was also passionate about helping to care for the animals at HAWS. In her free time, she enjoyed learning, sewing and art, traveling, spending time with friends and family and especially quality time with her grandchildren: Spencer, Avery, Peyton, Elliana, Alexis, Talia, and John IV, as well as her grand-dogs Perry and Clyde who she proudly doted over and spoiled every chance she got -often spoiling all of them with too many treats! To say that her family and friends will miss her greatly is an understatement. Her absence will leave a hole in the hearts of those that knew and loved her. We ask that you continue to honor her memory by reaching out to someone(dog) in need; call or visit someone who is lonely, assist someone who is differently-abled, be a cheerleader for someone, send flowers to someone having a great day or to someone who is not, and don’t forget to thank those that have done something for you. At her request, there will be an Irish wake filled with light appetizers, merriment and music. She wishes for everyone to celebrate her passing into the arms of Jesus and for the end of her pain and suffering. A visitation will take place on July 14, 2022 at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church (W280N2101 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072) from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to follow. An Irish wake will follow the service at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E. Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 12:30pm-3:30pm.
