Gerald "Jerry" S. Wolf

Gerald (Jerry) S. Wolf passed away peacefully at home at the age of 85, after a long and noble battle with cancer on August 29, 2024, with his loving wife Kaaren (nee Rasmussen) by his side.

Jerry was born to Sebastian and Mable Wolf on October 21, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI. He was in the first graduating class at Arrowhead High School.

Jerry was a man of many talents and skills. In his younger days he loved to race open wheel sports cars and was known as one of the best foreign car mechanics in Madison, WI. Jerry also worked as an industrial draftsman, a car salesman and a service writer. He was a purchasing agent for Huffy Corporation and even worked for H & R Block helping people with their tax returns. He retired as a hearing instrument specialist and had a knack for helping people.

He loved to travel with his wife Kaaren and family. He was a talented artist, an avid reader, movie buff and loved music of all genres. He was a phenomenal cook, a car enthusiast and appreciated the fine arts. He had a wonderful sense of humor that was present into his final days.

Jerry is survived by his wife Kaaren; children Shari Morris, Jeff (Kathy) Wolf, Rebecca (Dean) Burdick and Danny (Linda) Wolf; grandchildren Heather (Jeremy) Blue, Erica Fiorita, Matthew Burdick, Seth (Cassie) Wolf and Andrew (Haley) Burdick; great-grandchildren Brailee Fiorita and Mason Blue; brothers Jeffery (Kathy) Wolf and James (Susan) Wolf; sister Judy (Kenny) Schmid; as well as other family, friends and neighbors.

The family would like to thank the amazing nurses at Aurora Home Hospice for giving him wonderful care.

A celebration of life will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) on September 13, 2024 from 1:00PM-3:00PM with a service to follow.
