Gerhardt W. Tetzlaff Jr.

Gerhardt W. Tetzlaff Jr., 72 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Loving husband of 51 years to Agnes. Also survived by his children Gary Tetzlaff, Carl (Missy) Tetzlaff, Charles Tetzlaff, John Tetzlaff, Ron (Kathy) Tetzlaff, Tammy (Mike) Burke and Gerald (Trish) Tetzlaff. Cherished grandpa to 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Gerhardt is also survived by his sisters Joan Mueller, Nancy (Bob) Roe, Diane Lund, Peggy (Warren) Mertens along with many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents along with other relatives. Gerhardt worked as a farmer and enjoyed assisting other farmers in the area. He also enjoyed hunting and was an all around great man who will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Funeral services for Gerhardt will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 PM until the time of the service, all to be held at the church. Gerhardt will be laid to rest at St. Jerome Cemetery in Oconomowoc on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gerhardt's name can be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc or to the Stone Bank Fire Department.
