Gilbert Kraut

Gilbert 'Gib' Kraut, age 90, of Oconomowoc, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010. Gib is survived by his daughter Joanne Kraut of Oconomowoc and his sister Doris Kraut of Glendale AZ, along with many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Gib was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, parents Charles and Lenore Kraut, his sister Margaret Hart and his brother Milton ?Augie? Kraut. Funeral services will be on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. with a visitation starting at 4:00 P.M. all to be held at the Church of the Resurrection (W287 N3700 North Shore Dr. Pewaukee, WI 53072). Burial will be at the Gardens of Stone Bank at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to AngelsGrace Hospice or to the Donor?s choice. Gib served in the United States Army Air Corps in W.W.II in the 12th Tactical Recognizance Squadron and was in Europe for four years. He then worked for American Motors, Genesee Aggregate, and ended up retiring from the Oconomowoc School District. Gib liked taking care of his yard and flowers, feeding the chipmunks and the squirrels and 5 O?s baseball.
