Gregory "Barney" Rosandich

Greg “Barney” Rosandich of Ixonia, age 70, passed away on August 20, 2017, at his home. He is survived by his siblings Sharon (Tom) Chase of Green Bay, Mark (Sue) Rosandich of Oconomowoc, Kathy (Tom) Rzepczynski of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Maureen (Jim) Lown of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Andy (Cindy) Rosandich of Oconomowoc, and many other relatives and friends. He was the proud god-father of Tim Chase, Lissa Radder and Nick Rzepczynski. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Alice (Schmidt) Rosandich and brother Johny Rosandich. Barney served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked as a mill operator, petroleum analyst, and field editor for Auto Buyer and Bar Street Journal. He also wrote poetry for BSJ and wrote many other articles and editorials. Visitation will be at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI) from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23 with a time of Eulogies at 7:00 PM followed by military honors. Burial at Glenview Memorial Gardens will be on Thursday for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barney’s name to Oconomowoc Area Food Pantry or a church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
