Gregory A. Vock 'Coach', age 68, passed away on October 4, 2011 from pancreatic/liver cancer. Coach Vock was born in Chicago on 10-23-42 to parents Elmer J. Vock, US Army, and Lillian Vock. Survived by his brother Christopher Conti-Vock and sister Barbara Pondelicek; father to Craig C. Vock US Army Ret. and daughter Terri Schrader; husband and sweetheart to Janice A. Vock for 47 years. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Eric Vock. Graduated from Northwest Missouri State College, MA Degree from U of Illinois Champaign, MA Degree in Administration from UWM Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Infantry-SEMPER FI. Greg was past Commander of Dousman American Legion Post #405 and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Coach Vock loved to read history, collected toy soldiers, wood working, fishing, and coaching with his daughter Terri. He supported veterans thru his leadership in American Legion Post #405. Greg will be missed by his grandchildren Fallon Vock, and Jason and Sarah Schrader. He was extremely proud of his nieces and nephews. Coach was a dedicated person who championed the student-athlete. He coached and taught at Kettle Moraine High School for 41 years. He loved his country, family, friends and athletes. Teaching History and Psychology were joys and he worked hard as Athletic Director for KMHS. He would like to 'Thank' all the Coaches who dedicate themselves to the student-athlete. Visitation will be at Saint Bruno Church, Monday, October 10, 2011 from 4-7PM. On Tuesday, October 11 at Saint Bruno Church, there will be a short visitation from 10-11AM followed by Mass at 11AM. Burial will be held at St. Bruno Cemetery following Mass. Memorials to the Kettle Moraine High School Scholarship Fund or Dousman American Legion Post #405.
