Gretchen A. Stevens

Gretchen A. Stevens, age 72, of Hartland, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Gretchen is survived by her loving husband David Stevens, of 20 years; her step children Anthony (Jean) Stevens and Ashlee (William) Brock; her step grandchildren Mazee and Alana; her brother Thomas Uber along with more family and friends. Gretchen is preceded in death by her parents. Gretchen was born and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania. At the age of 40 she set out to pursue her Law Degree at the University of Wisconsin and worked for various law firms for 23 years. Gretchen was a member of the Kettle Moraine Garden Club, book clubs and enjoyed a good game of golf. Over the years Gretchen and David raised and owned over 24 Labrador Retrievers. Services will be held at St. John’s Chrysostom Episcopal Church (500 Church St, Delafield) on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Services will begin at 12:30 pm with gathering time starting at 12 pm, there will not be a formal visitation.
