Harlan "Har" Gerritsen

Harlan J. 'Har' Gerritsen, 82, of Oconomowoc, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Harlan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Donna, children Harlyn 'Jeep' (Chris) Gerritsen, Michael (Sue) Gerritsen, Robert 'RB' (Judy) Gerritsen, James (Angie) Gerritsen, Greta Webb and Rachel Gerritsen, mother-in-law Eileen Janik, brother-in law David (Mikyong) Janik and sister-in-law Debbie (Stephen) Watts. Grandfather to Lyndsey, Autumn, Michelle, Jeremy, Jocelyn, Leasha, Bonnie Jean, Jacqueline, Austin, Mercedes, JonJames and James. Great-grandfather to Logan, Emma, Ethan, Christopher and Patience. Brother to Charles (Catherine) Gerritsen, John (Beverly) Gerritsen and Gary (Pam) Gerritsen. Harlan is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sister Charlene Kremers and loving daughter Kathleen Hofstetter. Har retired from TCG where he was president and CEO. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Har enjoyed auto racing, fishing, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A celebration of Har's life will take place at Elmbrook Church, 777 South Barker Road, Brookfield, WI on Thursday, November 8th at 5:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Military honors will immediately follow the service.
