Hermina Katherine Balistreri

Hermina K. Balistreri, age 104, of Dousman, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born November 17, 1915 in Yellow Medicine, MN to Anton and Julia (nee Toegel) Schenk. Survivors include her four children: Robert (Sue), Cheryl Block, Daniel (Debra), Dennis (Merry), and daughter-in-law Marsha (the late Anthony); Sister in law, Laverne (the late Hunter); as well as 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Hermina was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Balistreri, her son, Anthony, and her brothers: John (Ruth), Richard (Lorraine), Armin, Randolph (Lucy), Norman (Beverly), Robert and Hunter (Laverne); and her sisters: Camille, Ruth (Herb), Melanie, Ileana. She was a member of St. Bruno's Catholic Church in Dousman for many years. Her greatest love was her family. A private service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Vincent De Paul or St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in Dousman would be appreciated.
