Irene Weston

Irene Weston (nee Remmick), 87, of Hartland, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Irene is survived by her daughter Michelle (Robert) Barforth and daughter-in-law Maribeth Bush, brothers Les (Mary) Remmick, Ervin Remmick and sister Orlean Timmen. Cherished grandma to Ashley and Brian Barforth, Rob (Katie) Bush and Jim Bush, Michael (Penny) Bush and Eli (Lisa) Bliffert. Great-grandma to Lydia Ann Bush, Malachi and Noah Bush, Devon and Sophia Bliffert. Special aunt to Dennis and Margie Decker. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Weston, parents Jacob and Magdelina Remmick, her two beloved sons Keith and Jerry Bush along with many brothers and sisters. Irene was a longtime resident of the Lake Country area where she was a homemaker and later worked for many years as the caretaker at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield. She also volunteered in the health room at Cushing Elementary school and was a Sunday School teacher at Christ the King where she was also involved in the quilting group for the missions. In her later years she was a resident of Hartland Meadows where she had many friends and spent countless hours working on jigsaw puzzles with her friends. A memorial service for Irene will take place at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 12:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Irene's name to Christ the King Lutheran Church. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and aides who cared for Irene in her last days.
