Isadora (Isie) I. Holzhueter, 91, of the Town of Ixonia passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was born in the Town of Concord on May 31, 1921 to the late William and Bertha (Kroll) Zastrow. Isadora married Waldo Holzhueter on June 15, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1995. Isie is survived by her loving children, Loren (Arlene) Holzhueter and Louann (Stan) Kuehl, a grandson, Aarron Holzhueter, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo, three brothers, Palmer, Harold and Walter Zastrow and two sisters, Lucille Dobratz and Arletta in infancy. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 E. Pleasant Street, Oconomowoc, beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest following the service at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. The Rev. Lance O'Donnell will be officiating. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice. Isie had been a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was an active member of the Ladies Aid Society for many years. She and her husband farmed in the Town of Ixonia. Isie was a Tour Coordinator and loved playing sheepshead with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. The family would like to thank the staff on the second floor at Watertown Regional Medical Center for the loving care they gave Isie.
