Jack Marshall Strunsee, Sr.

December 20, 1942 — August 22, 2022

Jack Marshall Strunsee, Sr.

Jack Marshall Strunsee, Sr. took his fastest and loudest hotrod and drag-raced across the finish line, August 22, 2022 to be with his wife Eileen (née Szablweski), his parents Louis and Dorothy Strunsee, sister Sharon Aweau (née Strunsee), best friend Wally Pontell, and all others that were waiting to welcome him home. Jack was a veteran of the US Army, avid outdoorsman, H.O.G. member and biker, member of the NHRA, GoodGuys, and lover of fast cars. When he wasn’t tearing up the quarter mile, vacationing with his beloved family, or hunting out West, he was on the floor at his business, Southwest Metal Finishing, which he founded, owned & operated for 45 years. He was an inspiration to many and a paragon of what it meant to work hard and love what you do. He is survived by his sons, Jack M Strunsee Jr (Tracie née Partin) and Shawn Strunsee (Kami née Koenig), beautiful granddaughters, Taylor and Ashley Strunsee, and Halle and Hayden Strunsee. Sister, S. Faye Kachikis (née Strunsee), and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private funeral service with only close family members present. Flowers and memorials can be sent to Pagenkopf Funeral Home.
