Jacob Charles Butschke, age 12, of Oconomowoc, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Jacob is survived by his parents Christopher and Lisa (nee Lange) Butschke, sister Madeline Butschke, grandparents Harold and Barbara Butschke, Mike and Mary Ann Lange, great grandmother Margaret Fulmer, Aunts, Uncles and their families; Carrie (Joseph) Mueller, children Courtney, Joshua, Logan and Ethan Mueller, John (Barb) Butschke, children Cole and Brett Butschke, Margaret (Don) Clark, child Jessi Clark, Johanna Butschke, Michael Lange Jr., children Rachel, Megan and Mikey Lange. Jacob is further survived by other relatives and friends. You may leave online condolences for the family of Jacob Butschke at www.pagenkopf.com Jacob was preceded in death by his great grandparents Art (Carrie) Butschke, John Fulmer, Chuck (Nancy) Lange and William (Mary Ann) Marish and great-great Aunt Julia Vondra. Jacob, born on May 3, 1999, attended Nature Hill Intermediate School where he had achieved High Honors and has been accepted as a new member of the National Junior Honor Society. He was very talented in theatre and music. He had performed in the play 'Wizard of Oz' at Theater on Main in the Summer of 2011 as the Barrister of Munchkinland. He was 'Charlie' in the 5th grade play Willy Wonka Jr. He was 'Rumpelstiltskin' in the 6th grade play Rumpelstiltskin. He was in the all school play 'Fiddler on the Roof' and most recently 'Annie'. Jacob had an amazing voice and loved to sing in the choir and the praise band at church. Jacob loved to help with the music for Vacation Bible School at church and assist with Sunday School. He loved to play the clarinet and piano along with riding his motocross bike with his dad, jet skiing, fishing with Badi and Punka up north, water skiing, downhill skiing, and family bike rides. He was so proud to have learned to slalom ski last summer before his dad. Jacob had a great love for dogs, he was looking so forward to getting his new puppy 'Louie'. Jacob is the definition of a 'perfect son' in every way. He is loving, caring, generous, compassionate, respectful and just simply a sweet soul. Jacob is an amazing big brother to his little sister Madeline. Jacob loved to play with and take care of her. Jacob and Madeline loved to entertain family and friends with impromptu song and dance. He loved life and his contagious smile and laugh will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Funeral services for Jacob, will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Dr. Martin Luther Church, 325 South Main Street, Oconomowoc. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at Dr. Martin Luther Church. Internment will take place immediately following the service at LaBelle Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the: 'Jacob Butschke Scholarship Fund' (fund is setup at Landmark Credit Union, 955 Lexington Drive, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). The memorials collected will be used to further enhance young artists in the Oconomowoc area.
