James G. Campbell

James G. Campbell, age 86, of Oconomowoc, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 07, 2018. James is survived by his loving wife Lucille of 65 years; his children Jill (Mike) Whalen, Robin (George) Funk and Craig Campbell; his grandchildren Sarah (William) Elmer, Max Whalen, Samuel Whalen, Christopher Tiernan-Funk and Haley Funk; his great grandchildren Olivia and Penny Elmer; his brother Malcolm Campbell and many more family and friends. James is preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Donald Campbell. Services for James will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (210 E Pleasant St, Oconomowoc) on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11 am. A visitation for family and friends will take place from 10 am until time of service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in James' name to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Oconomowoc Senior Center. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at ProHealth Hospice and to the other loving caregivers for the loving care shown to James. He was known far and wide as, 'the friendly helpful hardware man' at Ace Hardware.
