James Robert Dugan Age 94 went to his heavenly home surrounded by God and family on May 22, 2015. He is survived by his children: Patricia (Dan) Johnson, Nancy (Dale) Dineen, James (Brenda) Dugan: His grandchildren, Gabrielle (Christopher) Mounts, Jacob (Misty) Johnson, Rachel Johnson (Giambrone-Bebr) , Brian (Brigitte) Dugan, Matthew and Michael Dugan: 10 Great Grandchildren: Ash, Sid, and Kate Mounts; Alexis and Jonathan-Bryant Johnson; Alia, Meadow and Jeremiah Giambrone; Jessica and Kylie Bebr. Brother-in-Law William (Kay) Flatley: Caring friend and visitor, Diane Dineen, and many kind, compassionate and special friends in Wilkinson Manor. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jane (Flatley), his parents: Robert Lewis and Mary Gertrude, brother, Gerald Joseph and sister-in-law Laverne Dugan. His uncle and business partner, George Joseph Dooley (Beatrice) Jim proudly served our country as a United States Marine during WWll and was injured in action. He was a staunch supporter of the American Constitution. He was a Real Estate Broker-Appraiser with Dooley and Dugan Realty Co. and licensed in 2 states, Wisconsin and Florida for 58 years. When his beloved wife Jane became ill, he devoted himself to her care until her death in 2003. He also cared for within his home, his widowed Mother, Father-in-law and young brother-in-law. As a young boy he loved being in the Boy Scouts and achieved the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a faith filled and active member in his church, headed the Usher Society, was a Eucharistic Minister and Lecturer and led a weekly Bible Study in his home. Jim loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, photography and flying after getting his private pilot’s license. He was a quiet man filled with kindness and dignity and will be missed by many. Patricia and Jim wish to thank their sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dale Dineen, for many years of faithful daily care, and love given to their Dad in their home. The family wishes to thank the kind, caring and compassionate staff of Wilkinson Woods, Assisted Living in Oconomowoc, and the Continuing Care Staff of Vitas Hospice, who lovingly took care of our Dad as if he were their own father. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Wilkinson Manor Community Room 919 East Summit Avenue in Oconomowoc. Private Interment will be in Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials if you wish to his parish, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta W314N7462 Hwy 83 in North Lake, WI 53064 or Stars and Stripes Honor Flights P.O. Box 636 Pt. Washington WI 53074 or a charity of your choice. Jim Dugan always would say: “You take what the Good Lord gives you and smile”
