James R. Stocks

James Stocks of Sullivan passed away on January 26, 2017 at the age of 69. He is the loving brother of David (the late Myrna), Shari (Fred) Meyers, Val (Mike) Sheehan, Gary, Candy (Lee) Meyer, Bruce and Donna (Cas) Kuzba. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by other relatives and friends. James is preceeded in death by parents Donald Stocks and Glenda Steuerwald, siblings Doug and Pat. James, a veteran of the United States Air Force enjoyed various activities outdoors such as hunting and fishing. James enjoyed his career as a truck driver and spending time riding his motorcycles. Golf with his brothers especially trying to out play his brother Dave was also a favorite past time. His two dogs, Snickers and Buddy were a very big part of his life as he took pride in being their guardian. A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, February 11 from 4:30 PM until time of prayers at 5:30 PM at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial to the Watertown Humane Society. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to John for his loving care over the last several years.
