James Schmeling

James Schmeling, age 62, of Sullivan, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 16, 2012. Jim is survived by his loving wife Suzi (nee Olah), children James Schmeling, Mark (Heather) Schmeling, Nicholas Schmeling, Cody Olah, Joe (Missy) Marks, Michael Marks and Chris (Marni) Marks, grandchildren James Schmeling, Mark Schmeling Jr., and Cassy Schmeling, great grandson Damon James Ace Bogart, along with other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Edward and Thomas Schmeling. Funeral services for Jim will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sullivan, WI at 7:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Wildlife In Need or Boy Scouts of America Potawatomi. Jim was a 33 year employee of the Ethan Allen Boy School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along the Mississippi River and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
