Janet Mary Cesarz

Janet M. Cesarz, 78, of the town of Genesee, WI, passed away on February 25, 2024 in Milwaukee, WI. Janet was born May 16, 1945, in Milwaukee, the daughter of John W. and Mary (nee Green) Axtell.

Janet was the dear wife of John E. Cesarz, whom she married on October 12, 1968, in Milwaukee, WI. She is survived by her two sons, Peter (Nita) Cesarz of Lake Geneva, WI and Benjamin (Kelly) Cesarz of the Town of Eagle, WI. Loving grandmother of Isabella, Deven, Elina, Sophia, Adelaine and Oliver Cesarz. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Axtell and her sister Susan Axtell and her brother John (Jack) Axtell.

Janet was a member of Riverglen Christian Church and was a Medical Technologist, having retired from Waukesha Memorial Hospital after many years of service. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATON: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI) on Sunday, March 3, 2024 with Visitation from 11:00am – 2:00pm, with a service to follow. Janet will be laid to rest on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00am at Genesee Cemetery in Genesee, WI.
