Janet Stephan, age 77 of Hartland, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 surrounded by her family. Janet is survived by her loving children Lori (Don) Tracy, Lawrence (Jackie) Oman and Anne Marie (Phil) Kanter. Her grandchildren Jessica (Ryan) Jacob, Dustin (Laura) Tracy, Caleb Tracy, Kyle and Ben Oman, Hannah (Dan) Deminsky, Joseph, David, Timothy, Grace and Seth Kanter. Great grandchildren Landon and Roland Deminsky, Martha Jacob and Jack Tracy along with her sister Dianne Zebrowski, her niece Beth (Anthony) Leardi, nephew Tedd (Bridget) Zebrowski and her great nieces Abigail and Amelia Zebrowski. Janet is preceded in death by her parents John and Victoria Kastelic, brother in law Dr. Clemens Zebrowski and her former husband Lawrence S. Oman. A memorial service for Janet will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 11:00 AM all to take place at Crosspoint Community Church in Oconomowoc. Janet grew up singing and loved to sing. She loved art and painting. Janet worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad and retired from there and started Stephan Forklift repair business with her ex husband Frank and then went on to work at Catholic Memorial High School in the food service as a cook. Later on in life she got involved at her church, Crosspoint Community Church, where she started Life Line support group for battered women. Janet loved to travel and be with her family and friends, but most of all she loved the Lord. She will be truly missed by her family and all the lives she has touched.
