Janice Ann Vock

Janice Ann Vock (nee Magennis), age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 2, 2022. Jan was born on July 13, 1943, in Fort Dodge, IA to Phil and Corinne (nee Holm) Magennis.

Jan is survived by her children, Craig Vock and Terri Schrader; grandchildren, Jason Schrader and Sarah Schrader; siblings, Tom (Suellyn); best friend, Patty Petzold; along with many other family and friends.

Jan is preceded in death by her husband, Greg; her parents; and brother, Jim (Ann).

Jan worked for many years in the accounting department for the Kettle Moraine School District and as an administrative assistance in the school district prior to that. Jan loved the lake life and raising her family on Pretty Lake in Dousman. She was a huge supporter of Kettle Moraine Athletics, her children and grandchildren’s athletics and activities. There isn’t a bleacher in SE Wisconsin she hasn’t sat in to support her family.

Jan loved her yearly trip to Las Vegas with her best friend, Patty where they frequented shows and hoped to hit the big jackpot. A special spot in her heart will be with the ladies who she played dominos with every Wednesday for many years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mutts with a Mission in Jan’s name are appreciated.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 17 from 9:30-10:30 at St. Bruno Catholic Church (226 W Ottawa Ave, Dousman, WI 53118) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Jan will be laid to rest next to her husband, Greg at St. Bruno Cemetery following the service.
