Janice Yvonne Jensen

Janice Yvonne Jensen (nee Vieau) entered Heaven on October 20, 2023 at age 97. Jan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Gordon O. Jensen, parents Joseph and Lillie Vieau, stepson John Jensen and furry friends Gus and Jeter. She is survived by son Perry (Nancy) Trowbridge, and stepsons Anthony (Martha) Trowbridge, Michael (Diane) Trowbridge, and Michael (Jeanne Armstrong) Jensen. Grandmother to Joel (Stephanie), Joshua (Eve), Jared (Rachel), Emily (Quinn), Andrea, Michael and Martin. Great-grandmother to Lauren, Olivia, Wyatt, Winston, Charlotte, Eli, Ava, Stella, Dylan, Braedon, Ethan, Lexi, Alexandria, Daniel, Izabella, Ethan, Madelyn, Mia, Eric and Marina. Survived by Kathy Knabe, many friends, other relatives and compassionate caregivers.

Jan graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She is fondly remembered as a physical education teacher and as the leader of the Title 1 program in the Sussex-Hamilton School District. She was a vivacious member of Gals on the Go at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Hamilton Education Foundation and WAHPERD.

Visitation on November 4, 2023 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (NEW LOCATION: 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) with a service at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or charity of choice.
