Jeanette T. Hoffmann

Jeanette T. Hoffmann, age 72, of Erin, WI born in Agana, Guam went to the arms of the Lord while her husband held her hand on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband Edward of 51 years; her children Paulette (Joel Buth) Hoffmann, Christine (Dejan Nikitovic) Hoffmann and Timothy (Erin) Hoffmann; loving Nana to Luke, Nicholas, Elyse, Maximus and Atticus; her siblings Suzette Taitano, Gerald (Frances) Taitano, Francis (Kathy) Taitano, Albert (Micha) Taitano, Genedine (James McDonald) Taitano, Benjamin Michael (Irene) Taitano, Patrick (Jean) Taitano, Odilia Taitano and Zita Taitano; brother-in-law Vincente Leon Guerrero and Jim Hoffmann; 27 nieces and nephews along with family and friends. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Isabel, her sister Edith Leon Guerrero and brother Victor Taitano. Jeanette was a beloved wife and mother, a dedicated nurse, instructor and professor. She was active in her parish at Holy Hill, and the Formation Director for the Holy Hill Carmelite Community. She loved to cook for her family and keep a beautiful garden. She was a writer, a teacher, an avid book collector and a leader by example. Jeanette with her strong but quiet manner and sweet personality was inspirational to her family and friends, she will be immensely missed. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette will take place at the St. Therese Chapel at the Holy Hill Basilica (1525 Carmel Rd, Hubertus) on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Visitation will be held from 11 am until time of Mass at 12 pm. A burial will follow immediately after mass at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to Holy Hill.
