Jennifer Gene Mckittrick

Jennifer Gene McKittrick, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at home after a courageous battle from uterine cancer at the age of 61 on June 19, 2024. Jennifer was born on April 18, 1963, in Janesville, WI to Leroy and Eleanor (Joyce) Sands.

As a devoted office manager at Komelon USA in Waukesha, Jennifer recently retired after 16 years of service. Her dedication and professionalism shone brightly, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and peers.

From a young age, Jennifer had a passion for art, found solace in reading books, pampering herself with pedicures and listening to Rod Stewart. Jennifer also had a passion for golf, boating, puzzles, sewing, and making her home feel like home. Jennifer's love for family and holiday traditions was unparalleled. Christmas time at home was her favorite, as she cherished building annual gingerbread houses with her grandchildren and hosting gatherings that brought everyone together.

Jennifer's unconditional love for her family was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed playing and participating in activities with her family, especially the “up and down the river” card game, which brought laughter and fun to every gathering. Her passion for traveling took her on memorable adventures, including a bucket list trip to Santorini, Greece this past September.

Jennifer's compassion, resilience, and especially her quick wit, will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Jennifer is survived by her husband Brian; children Megan (Bob) Holsen, Alissa (Tyson) Goecks, Samantha (Dane) Hoffman; grandchildren Hattie, Cameron, Bree, Collette, Dash; siblings Jody (Jim) Bartz, Julie (Lee) Meyers, Kris (Bill) Fischer; mother-in-law Charlene McKittrick; and many other loving family and friends.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Scott Sands.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Agrace Hospice and all the numerous friends and family who have shown their love and support during this difficult time.

In honor of Jennifer's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.

In honoring and celebrating Jennifer's life, a visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (120 Nashotah Rd, Nashotah, WI 53058) from 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by a heartfelt service.
