Jenny Holle (nee Bartol) passed away peacefully on June 13, in Oconomowoc WI. A lifelong practitioner of health and wellness, Jenny enjoyed 96 years of remarkable health and independence until suffering a set of strokes in the weeks preceding her death. Jenny was bon November 3, 1919 to Slovenia immigrants John and Mary (nee Gornick) Bartol in Aurora, Minnesota. Jenny left Aurora to attend secretarial school in St. Paul Minnesota and later began work in the Advertising Department of the Milwaukee Journal, where she met her future husband, Stafford O. Holle. In 1947 Jenny married Stafford, a widower with four sons. At which time, Jenny moved to Oconomowoc and lived on Upper Nemahbin Lake until 2013, when she moved to an independent living apartment at Shorehaven in Oconomowoc. Jenny is preceded in death by her husband Stafford O. Holle; stepsons Stafford Jr. and Stuart; brothers Henry, Tony, and Frank; sisters Juliana and Mae. Jenny is survived by stepsons Roy Holle of Oconomowoc and Lee Holle of Marco Island, FL; brother Thomas Bartol (MaryAnn) and sister Helen Marciniak, both of Aurora, MN; and many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Jenny’s family and friends will remember her as an avid reader who studied a wide variety of subjects. Jenny was known to listen to talk radio at all hours of the day and night, enjoyed polka music, and had a great sense of humor. Services for Jenny will be held Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc, WI on Wednesday, June 22nd: Visitation 9 – 11am, Service at 11am, Burial at Summit Cemetery immediately following
