Joan Catherine Bouche

Joan Catherine Bouche, age 87, of the Village of Summit, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019. Joan is survived by her children, Cindy (Mark) Ehnert of Brookfield, Sue (Randy) Hartl of Green Lake, and Mike (Charlotte) Bouche of Oconomowoc; her grandchildren Jamie (Joe) Vagnini, Tyler (Shelly) Schmoll, Amy Schmoll, Eric Hartl, Brad Hartl, Kate (Andy) Anderson, Jay (Brooke) Bouche, and Josh Bouche. her great grandchildren Stella and Eva Vagnini, Marissa and Logan Schmoll, Bentley and Connor Anderson, Harper and Jax Bouche; lifelong friends from Nathan Hale High School and St. Mary’s School of Nursing and other relatives and friends; and her beloved Westie Marlee. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and her brother. Over the course of her lifetime, Joan showed creativity through painting, sewing, decorating and cooking. Joan and Jack had a sense of adventure through travel, and the constant companionship of many dogs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Dousman, with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Summit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Joan’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
