In loving memory of JoAnne Hanson, who peacefully passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 91. JoAnne, born on October 18, 1932, in Rubicon, WI, was the daughter of Elsie and Clarence Heimerl.

JoAnne is survived by her children Leslie (Marc) Harris, Michelle (Tom Dazey) Luker, Jeffrey (Andi) Hanson, Lisa (Art Konkel) Olson; grandchildren Michael, Rebecca, Justin, Keith, Valena, Rick, Robbie (Eriyka), Karly (Brad) Ward, Nick, Marissa, Jessica (Jerry) Jordan; great-grandchildren Khloe, Cairo, Carter, Calista, Rowyn, Orion; siblings Jean (Howie) Gilbert, Ron (Renee), along with other family and friends.

JoAnne is preceded in death by her husband Robert; sons Mark and Eric Hanson; parents; and siblings Bill, Jim, Jerry and Eddie.

Throughout her life, JoAnne was known for her talents as a painter, her creative skills in arts and crafts, and her ability to fix anything with a smile. Her passion for making rugs brought warmth and beauty to many homes, a reflection of her caring and giving nature. In her leisure time, JoAnne found solace in the great outdoors, cherishing moments spent camping with her dear husband, Robert, biking through scenic routes, and swimming in the refreshing waters that brought her joy.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during JoAnne's time of need.

In honor of JoAnne's life, a visitation will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a service to follow.
