John A. Gannon

John (Jack) A. Gannon age 81, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was the son of the late Martin and Irene Gannon. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Arlene and daughters Janet (Brian) Enters and Jeanne (Mark) Elkins. He was the brother of Sharon (Charles) Berkholtz and Patricia Westerman (deceased). He was the proud grandpa of 6 grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica, Erik, Andrea, David, Daniel (deceased), and 7 great-grandkids. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a lifelong carpenter and built many homes in southeast Wisconsin. He was an avid wood carver and was a charter member of the Lake Country Carvers. He loved fishing and was a member of Lunkers Unlimited. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Nashotah Fire Dept. until retiring to Coloma where he served another 15 years as a volunteer for the Coloma Fire Dept. He will be missed by his family and many friends. A visitation for John will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM with a graveside service to follow at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Cemetery at 12:00 PM Noon. Memorials are suggested to AngelsGrace Hospice Center or to the donors favorite animal shelter.
