John Butler

John R. Butler of Mukwonago, WI went home on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the age of 54. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 21 years. John is also survived by his father and mother Eugene and Sally Butler of Oconomowoc. He was the proud Dad of Jennifer (Nate) Ellingson, Jessie and his delightful grandson Phoenix. Patricia's daughters Tracy Henriksen, Maureen Lawrence and grandchildren Abigail, Johannes, Caitlyn and great-grandson Liam added additional joy to his life. He is further survived by his sisters Sally (Phil) Salzman, Barbara (Dean) Dehnert, Kathy (George) Ekker, Ann (Timothy) Grabarz, Margaret (Matthew) Peterson and brothers Robert (Deanna) Butler and Matthew (Susan) Butler, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Monica Brennecke. John was a member of Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons' International Association Local 599 since 1979. He was employed by Gruman Construction for many years and most recently by A.J. Heinen. John grew up with a passion for hunting that extended for all of his life and peaked with annual elk hunting trips to New Mexico. He also had a talent for perfecting his flower beds and yard. Those who knew John will know he is 'Headed High'. A memorial service for John will be on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The family would like to express special gratitude to Dr. Paul LeMarbre and his staff at DN Greenwald Center and ProHealth Hospice who gave him support, encouragement and friendship.
