John E Geier

John E. Geier found peace on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 76. He was born December 12, 1942 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Anton and Mary (Deutsch) Geier. Beloved husband of Vickie (Fiedler) for 42 years; loving father of Michael, Matthew (Katie); proud grandpa of Everett. Also survived by and will be missed by other family and friends. Proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy, in the Helicopter Combat Support Squadron I, during the Vietnam War. He received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal as well as a First Good Conduct Medal. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Rudolph and Richard Geier, and sister-in-law Marilyn Geier. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service. Military Rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wounded Warrior or St. Jude’s Children Hospital would be appreciated.
