John Galler

John Galler, age 96, of Oconomowoc, was born on March 1, 1914 and passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. John is survived by his daughter Joanne (Britton) Buchanan of Oconomowoc, grandchildren Christi-Jo Buchanan of Dousman, Kimberli (Kerry) Buchanan-Jacobs of East Troy, Andrew (Beth) Buchanan of Ixonia, great grandchildren Ashley (Ben) Hilmer, Paige Buchanan, Shelby Buchanan, Abigail Buchanan and Jacob Buchanan, great-great grandson Caleb Hilmer, sisters Charlotte Schwantz of Missouri, Virginia ?Peggy? (Peter) Picciurro of Milwaukee, Ruth Stelzner of New London, along with many other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Pipes Galler, parents Otto J. and Leona (Bushonville) Galler, brothers James Galler and Eugene Galler and sisters Mary Jane Bullock and Gloria Milaccio. John was a retired City of Milwaukee Police Officer, retiring in 1967 with 25 plus years of service. The family wishes to send a special thanks to Tonya and the staff at Lake Country Health and Rehabilitation Center and the Allay Home and Hospice for their special care of John. Memorials are suggested to a charity of one?s choice. Private services were held for the family.
