John Joseph Stanczak, age 85, formerly of Pembine and Brown Deer, WI, born to eternal life on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. John is survived by his children John (Donna), Lynda (Jim) Riddle, Bryan (Dawn), Randy (Jacqueline), Scott (Cari), Gregg (Kelli) and Dawn (Jim) Hecht; his grandchildren Erica (Greg) Lampert, Monica (Chad) Phelps, Allen (Christy), Danielle, Adam (Pam), Jennifer (Scott) Pospychalla, Michael Stanczak, Sarah and Jimmy Hecht; his great grandchildren Ava and Tyler Lampert, Collin and Lauren Phelps, Jenna (Thomas) Browne, Brayden and Kinley Stanczak; his great great granddaughter Aryanna Browne; also survived by Rhyll O'keefe, Erin Wolfe and companion Elna Hulbert along with many other loving family and friends. John is preceded in death by his loving wife Jane Stanczak (nee Hall) of 51 years, his parents John and Veronica; his sisters Ceila (Norval) Barker and Isabelle (Peter) Priante along with her late husband Joseph Kasieta. John served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a radio mate first class during the Korean Conflict. John was proprietor of Dobbco TV for over 30 years, he had strong faith in the Lord, was an avid fisherman, hunter, loved the outdoors, camping, enjoyed reading, woodworking, gardening and digging with his back hoe. Special thanks to Lake Country Health and Rehab and Season's Hospice for your care. In lieu of flowers donations in John's name can be made to a charity of your choice. Services will be held for John at St. Jerome's Catholic Church (1001 S Silver Lake St, Oconomowoc) on Monday, July 18 at 12:00 PM. A visitation for family and friends will start at 10:00 AM. A private family burial will take place at a later time.
