John M. Bentrup

Passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at home with his family at his side on December 4, 2016. Loving husband of 70 years to Edna. Cherished dad of Joan (Larry Foat) Russo, Jean Pasqualone and Kelly (Gary) Gray. Granddad of Jason (Catherine) Russo and John Webb. Step grandpa of Lisa (Orlando) Dominguez, Ryan (Laura), Barrett (Casey), Reuben (Sarah) and Orlin (Becky) Foat. Great grandfather of Joslyn, Briana and Jared. Papi to Julian, Simon, Damacio, Helio, Elena, Maia, Nora and Evelyn. Preceded in death by parents John and Mae, sister Velma Bentrup and grandson Brian Webb. John, a man of faith who cherished his family was active in his church. A recipient of the Melvin Jones Award he was active in the Lions Club and enjoyed fishing, reading and bowling. John retired after forty years of service at Baltimore Gas & Electric Company (BGE). Memorial contributions to Pro Health Care Home Hospice, 2000 Pewaukee Rd., Ste.
