John P. Bauer

John P. Bauer, age 71, of Oconomowoc formerly of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, March 6, 2017. John is survived by his loving wife Lynn of 30 years; his step children Anne Nowicki, Justin (Mary Kreil) Basile and Toni (Eric) Schaefer; his step grandchildren Dylan Kamps, Armand 'AJ' Basile and Ava Basile; his siblings Frances (James) Proulx, Susan (Michael) Fuhrman and Joseph (Carol) Bauer; his nephews Michael (Heather) Fuhrman and Robert (Jenelle) Fuhrman; his nieces Elizabeth (Jon Gienke) Bauer and Amy (Randall) Jung and special family members Jamie Basile and Amber Basile. John worked for the City of Milwaukee Police Department from 1964-1998 and the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office from 1998-2007. John's family extends their deepest gratitude to caregivers Angela and Judy. Special thanks to ProHealth's Dr. Kelly Cooke; R.N.s Jackie and Bonnie, case managers; and their Palliative and Hospice staffs. Private family services will be held.
