John Patrick Zima

John Patrick Zima of Brookfield, Wisconsin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, at the age of 68 surrounded by those who loved him. Born in Algoma, WI on March 17, 1956, John touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and passion for his family and friends.

John will be deeply missed by his wife, Cheryl, daughters Rachele (Paul) Kuehl, Melissa (Andrew Wolf) Zima, and Rebecca (Eric) Graner, grandchildren John Thomas, Emma, Norah, Grace, Eden, Ryder, Leo, and Claire, his father Maynard (Carolyn) Zima, and his siblings Diane (Mark) Metz, James Zima and sister-in-law Kelly Zima. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elena (Micillo) Zima, his siblings Paul Zima, Dennis Zima, and Wanda Zima.

We celebrate his life on Wednesday, October 30th at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Visitation will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm immediately followed by a service and reception. The Celebration of Life will serve as a time to honor John's legacy by sharing stories and cherished memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Froedtert Cancer Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society who provided unwavering support through the last 11 years.
