Jonathan "Jon" Gregg Evenson

Jonathan “Jon” Gregg Evenson, age 43 of the Delafield area, lost his battle with depression on Monday, July 15, 2019. Jon is survived by his loving parents Roger and Marsha Evenson, his brothers James (Kelly) Evenson and Christopher Evenson along with his niece Anna Evenson and nephew Landon Evenson. His uncles Larry (Sandy) Murphy and Ric (Tanya) Murphy along with cousins and other relatives and friends. Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Mildred Murphy and Herman and Nellie Evenson. Jon was born on June 11, 1976 in Libertyville IL, was confirmed at Christ the King Lutheran in Delafield, graduated high school in Lakeville MN, undergrad degree from MN State, and graduated with a doctorate of law degree from UW Madison. He was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and practiced law in Madison with Stafford and Rosenbaum. He was currently employed at UPI in Eagle, WI. Jon loved animals, was a committed weightlifter and body builder, enjoyed spending time with his brothers and will be deeply missed by his family and everyone that knew him. A Celebration of Jon’s life will be on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc at 11:00 AM with a visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM. Memorials in Jon’s honor are suggested to HAWS in Waukesha County.
