When Tomorrow Starts Without Me … (excerpt, by David M. Romano)

“I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today. While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.”

Jon was born on June 11, 1987 and was called home to serve the Lord on June 8, 2023. He is survived by his parents, his two sisters, his two brother-in-laws, and his nephew and niece along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and lifelong friends as well as a special friend (per Grandma Ruth😉).

He was also preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his paternal aunt and uncle.

Although Jon was called home way too soon, he lived his life to the fullest and on his terms. He spent much of his time with the people he loved. He was known for his smile, laugh, sense of humor and charm, and don’t forget his collection of Nikes, extra clean! He was a die-hard sports fanatic and enjoyed passionately coaching his teams from his “armchair.” From a young age, he enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and golfing with the guys. There were many memorable family trips made and filled with shenanigans. Whether you knew him for a short period of time or for his lifetime, he left a lasting impression and will truly be missed by all that knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to WISHOPE  in Jon's name are appreciated.

Footprints in the Sand (excerpt, author unknown)

When you see only one set of footprints in the sand,

it was then that he carried you.
