Joseph Earl Rush

Joseph Earl Rush, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024. Born in Oconomowoc, WI on December 26, 1942, he was the son of Earl and Lillian (nee Sass) Rush.

Joseph had a passion for motorcycles and mechanics and he could often be found tinkering away working on various projects. He loved his many pets and spending time with family and friends.

Joseph is survived by his children, Rhonda (Robert) Wolter, Reg (Pat) Meyer, Christine (Dale) Hesse, Cathy (Tom) Kielich and Ron (Lisa) Meyer; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife Nevalee; parents; and siblings Jean and Jerry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Agrace Hospice in Joseph's memory.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Agrace Hospice and WI Dells Healthcare for their support and care during Joseph's final days.

A visitation to celebrate Joseph’s life will take place on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a service to follow. Pastor Wes Werner will be officiating. Joseph will be laid to rest at Hartland Cemetery with his wife Nevalee in a private service.
