Joseph Gillich

Joseph Gillich, age 92, born June 21, 1920 in the Village of Hustisford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Friday, May 17, 2013. Joe is survived by his loving wife Mary Claire, whom he has been with for 73 years. His three children, Carol Jean Justmann, Todd Joseph Gillich and Thomas (good friend Cheryl) Francis Gillich. His grandchildren Terese (Terry) Mercer, Chris (Becky) Justmann, Leanne (David Splinter) Neuman, Mark (Beth) Justmann and James (Lisa) Justmann. Great - grandchildren Jennifer, Nicole, Luke, Joey, Brandon, Jacob, Tanner, Christopher, Morgan, Mikayla, Travis, Isabelle and Jonathan. One great great grandchild Gage. He is also survived by his sister Veronica Hosster along with his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joe is preceded in death by his son Terrance Gillich, who passed away in a car accident, parents Joseph Sr. and Veronica Gillich, sister Mary Kuehl and brothers John, Jacob and Robert. A funeral Mass for Joe will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. all to be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Clyman. Burial will follow the Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Juneau with a luncheon after the burial at the Juneau Community Center. Joe will be deeply missed by all of his family and everyone that knew him.
