Joseph “Joe” Raymond Eichinger, 35, of Milwaukee, WI, met the loving arms of his Savior on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, from an unexpected medical condition. He was born on September 10th, 1986 in Iron Mountain, MI, to Terry and Betty Eichinger of Pembine, WI. He is survived, and deeply cherished, by his parents along with his loving brothers Terry Jr. (Mindy) of Winneconne, WI, Matthew (Nana) of Pewaukee, WI and Daniel (D’Lacey) of Belgium, WI. Uncle Joe to Cole, Alana and Joshua. Devoted grandson of Marian Eichinger. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Best friend of Brittany and Duke Steinbring and family, Claire and Tim Westphal and many others. He was the most favorite person in the entire world to Lucy, the family dog. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Leonard and Mary Rychlewski and Frederick Eichinger Sr., his uncle Leonard Rychlewski Jr., cousin Barry Kirby and tiny infant brother Seth A. Eichinger. There was no brighter light in the world than Joe. His hugs would wrap your entire soul in warmth, his smile could cast away the darkest clouds and his laugh resonated through everyone. He was devoted to his goddaughter Grace, and so proud to be a godfather. He never saw the bad in anyone he met, he was kind and selfless to a fault. He was a technological genius, completely self-taught in IT and rose through the ranks and promotions at Bell Ambulance and Refinitiv to become an Application Support Engineer. He was everyone’s go to when they had a computer problem and Joe never turned anyone away. He would go as far as dipping into his own savings to help those he cared about with their problems. It wasn’t just technology that he was a whiz with. Joe was also an excellent baker. Well known for his amazing cookies, Joe earned the nickname “Cookie Monster”. He sold dozens of cookies to classmates and staff every day from his backpack in high school. After he graduated Valedictorian of his senior class, he continued to bless friends and family with his baking for events and weddings throughout adulthood. He will be irreplaceable to family, friends, and coworkers that knew him. He had a vast love of many different hobbies and never encountered a task he could not take on. Joe also liked to visit the many waterfalls near his parent’s home. He loved how they made him feel at peace as he sat and watched the power behind them. A Celebration of Life for Joseph will be held on Saturday, February 5th at Crossroads Community Church from 11:00am (service 11:45 am) until 2:30 pm including a light lunch. Crossroads Community Church 4315 S. Moorland Road New Berlin, WI 53151 As we gaze into the future, life becomes even more uncertain. We live every day, expectant of what the future may hold. With every new day, new lives begin a journey, and some journeys end. ~ Joseph Eichinger, 2012
